Introduction
This procedure can only be used by agencies who are approved on the Preferred Supplier List (PSL) for the placement of relevant permanent staff. Recruitment agencies can only put forward curriculum vitae for staff groups for which they have been approved.
Procedure
The procedure for recruitment agencies wishing to put forward CVs for consideration is as follows:
A list of vacancies is detailed on this website
Any relevant curriculum vitae for advertised posts must be forwarded to the appropriate Human Resource Department within each facility. Agencies MUST NOT send CVs unless they are responding to advertised posts.
A staff member in the Human Resources Department will pass curriculum vitae to the relevant manager for consideration. A list of contacts within Human Resources for each facility is attached.
The manager will consider the curriculum vitae, alongside CVs from other applicants for the post.
If the potential candidate is suitable for short-listing, the manager or Human Resources Department will inform the recruitment agency giving them details of the date, time and place of the interview.
Following interview, it is the responsibility of the manager/Human Resources Department (this differs in different facilities) to inform the recruitment agency whether or not the candidate has been successful.
The recruitment agency will then inform the candidate and ensure that the candidate, through the facility, receives the appropriate letter of appointment, contract and start date etc.
Once the successful applicant has commenced work, invoicing of the 11% placement fee will be carried out in accordance with the Service Level Agreement. Invoices must be sent to the relevant manager within the appropriate facility.
NOTE: In order to ensure that communication is as robust as possible, recruitment agencies are asked to only put forward candidates who meet all of the criteria for the post. Where candidates are not short-listed, if the recruitment agency does not hear from the facility within a reasonable timeframe, it will be the responsibility of the recruitment agency to contact the facility to check the status of the candidate’s application.
