Position Summary: Based in the centre of London’s medical community, The Harley Street Cancer Centre has an international reputation as a centre of excellence in oncology patient care, and offering a high level of surgical and medical services, supported by state-of-the-art equipment and a genuine concern for patients as individuals.
The installation of 2 new linacs with full IMRT/IGRT capabilities, more recently the installation of the first CyberKnife in the UK and the upgrade of the Gamma Knife 4C system to the latest generation, Perfexion.
Through the opening of the London Cyberknife in February 2009 and the recent upgrade in technology the Medical Physics Department has resulted in the expansion of the department. We are seeking experienced radiotherapy physicists and one dosimetrist to join an existing team of seven physicists, three dosimetrists to work in conjunction with a joint venture in the Essex areaThe post holders shall participate in all aspects of Radiotherapy Physics. Appropriate supervision and top level training will be provided.
General
Responsibility:

The post holders shall participate in various aspects of Radiotherapy Physics. Appropriate supervision and training will be provided. The post holders will work in a variety of areas and work on specific projects helping to ensure the smooth running of the department.

Requirements The post is open to a wide range of individuals with salary determined by experience, qualifications and state registration
