This specialist nurse will be the third member of the Breast Care CNS’s who, as a team, are responsible for providing and supporting patients through a screening programme and running one-stop breast clinics at London Bridge Hospital. The role also includes overseeing the care of patients in the surgical setting, including reconstructive surgery and throughout chemotherapy treatments.
General
Responsibility:

• CNS in Breast Care, acting as a lead and professional role model
• Liaison with MDT
• Coordinating clinics and treatment visits for patients
Requirements • RGN
• Degree or working towards degree in relevant field
• Significant post reg.
• Medical & Surgical oncology experience essential
• Counselling experience
• Evidence of Teaching/presenting
• Able to work autonomously but also within a team
