Position Summary: We require a professional, motivated and customer focused member of the team. We aim to provide a high standard of service to all patients, consultants, secretaries and staff with whom we will deal with on a daily basis. A flexible and friendly approach is necessary in order to become a part of a hardworking team.
General
Responsibility:

Meet and greet patients, visitors, consultants and staff and deal with their enquiries, liase with other departments in regard to booking admissions, theatre dates and the manager on duty ensuring good communication in order to give an efficient service to all.

To pre-register and register patients and enter charges on to Meditech and BHRT computer systems. Ensuring the correct procedure is followed with regard to HCA admissions.

To be responsible for the accurate collation of relevant data to be charged, recorded and verified on patient accounts. To ensure all charges are captured and entered timely prior to billing. Documenting (memo) of doctor fees into accounts for self pay patients
Verify appropriate medical insurance cover and document(memo) into account, updating as appropriate.

To be responsible for the billing, cashiering and banking functions of the department.

To undertake rotational roles encompassing all duties and locations within the Patient Administration Department. Any other functions required in order to assist the department to meet it’s overall goals and objectives

Requirements 1. Good level of education
2. Good verbal and written English
3. Previous hospital and Patient Admin experience
4. Knowledge of excel, word and outlook
5. Excellent customer care skills
