Position Summary: INTERNAL APPLICANTS ONLY

We are looking for a highly skilled SLT with 4-5 years experience. You will be an integral member of the multidisciplinary team providing a high quality patient-centred rehabilitation service on the Acute Neurological Rehabilitation Unit at the Wellington Hospital. The successful candidate requires extensive experience delivering specialist services to adults with complex neurological conditions. Experience with neurogenic communication disorders, management of dysphagia, management of patients with a tracheostomy and independent use of videofluoroscopy is essential. Experience with supervision of junior staff and students is required. This post offers opportunities to develop specialist skills in neurorehabilitation, instrumental swallowing assessment including FEES and complex tracheostomy management.
