Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Position Summary: The SN will rotate between the CDU and 5th floor on a four weekly basis to help provide a continuity of care for patients in the Oncology setting. Whilst on the ward the nurse will be expected to work week-days and week-ends on a 7 day rotation. When in the CDU the shift pattern will be Monday – Friday.
General
Responsibility:

The post holder will be expected to give a high standard of care to all patients undergoing cancer related treatments. The inpatient ward also admits surgical patients undergoing ENT and Breast surgery
Requirements The post holder will have skills for chemotherapy administration, phlebotomy, cannulation, CVAD access and be experienced in caring for a patient on the ‘Cancer Journey’
