Position Summary: Assessment, treatment and management of patients on the Rehabilitation unit assessing occupational performance and skill deficits to reduce disability and enhance participation.
Equipment assessment, recommendation and provision.
External liason with companies, social services and other agencies.
Discharge planning and onward referral.
Supervision of assistants.
Service and staff development.
General
Responsibility:

Clinical assessment and treatment of patients in Neurological Rehabilitation and Acute Services.
Supervision and staff development.
Requirements Experience in neurological rehabilitation, assessment, treatment and discharge management.
Established posture and seating assessment skills.
Cognitive rehabilitation.
Splinting skills.
Time management and supervision skills.
