Position Summary: A Full time Post within the marketing department of the London Bridge Hospital. The busy department needs a friendly and well presented individual to support the team. You will need to have at least 6 months administrative/marketing experience and computer literacy - Microsoft Office and design packages (intermediate to advanced). The successful candidate will have excellent telephone manner and interpersonal skills

General
Responsibility:

Database
• To maintain an excel database of GP, consultant, medical secretary, embassy and Insurance Company contacts.
• To verify database information by telephone, fax, letter and e-mail
• To research and input details for new contacts
• To update records on a regular basis
• To carry out mailings
Seminars and Events
• To organise a programme of seminars and corporate hospitality events including Clinical Symposia, Breakfast Meetings, Secretary Club functions, Receptions and other events
• To produce invitations, maintain records of attendance and follow up non-respondents
• To negotiate with outside suppliers for corporate hospitality, conferences, etc
• To liaise with internal departments regarding equipment, room set up, catering etc
Web Site
• To maintain and develop the hospital web site
• To monitor enquiries and respond to requests for information
Market Research
• To collate press cuttings on a weekly basis for the group press clippings library
• To carry out research into new contacts, competitor services and pricing
Promotional Literature
• To assist with the production of promotional literature and newsletters
• To mail promotional literature to contacts and enquiries
• To create a library of hospital marketing literature and maintain stocks
Production of Marketing promotional material
• Liaise with consultants, and designers
• Liaise with the print management company
• Work to tight deadlines
• Produce consistently excellent documents for use within and outside the hospital. Thus increasing brand awareness.
General
• To provide secretarial and administrative support to the marketing department
• To deal with enquiries from external organisations, doctors, patients and staff
• To arrange internal and external meetings and other events as required
• To assist with the development and monitoring of annual budgets and plans
• To gain an understanding of the healthcare market and key customers
Perform ad hoc duties/projects as directed by Director of Marketing and the management team

Requirements Working knowledge of Microsoft office and design packages, excellent communications skills, commitment to marketing the hospital to the client base.
