Position Summary: A Full time Post within the GP Liaison department of the London Bridge Hospital. The busy department needs a friendly and well presented individual to support the team. You will need to have at least 6 months administrative experience and computer literacy The successful candidate will have excellent telephone manner and interpersonal skills

General
Responsibility:

 Handle telephone referrals from GPs, patients and other referrers and place them with the appropriate consultants/services.

 Take telephone referrals from GPs for urgent appointments and arrange urgent admissions to the hospital as appropriate.

 Handle patient and staff enquiries.

 Organise appointments for specific clinics.

 Maintain procedures and documentation therein.
 Assist GP Liaison Department Manager with compilation of reports and statistics.
 Liaise with staff at all levels and with external organisations under the guidance of the manager.
 Perform administrative duties.
 Responsible for development and maintenance of filing system.
 Inputting of data as and when required.
 Opening/handling of department post and emails.
 Preparation of correspondence under the guidance of the manager.
 Perform ad hoc duties/projects as directed by the manager.
 Work closely with the marketing staff to ensure that both departments complement each other.
 Attend internal and external hospitality events.

Requirements Excellent communications skills, commitment to marketing the hospital to the client base.
