Position Summary: The Harley street clinic and its NHS collaboration Harley Street at UCH has led to an exponential increase in chemotherapy production services.

We require an experienced pharmacist to lead our haematology pharmacy services.
General
Responsibility:

You will work with the pharmacy manager and integrate closely with the lead oncology pharmacist to ensure efficient running of departments and compliance with appropriate regulations. You will be expected to lead and support the performance of the haematology pharmacy staff and the lead oncology pharmacy technician to maintain and operate the chemotherapy reconstitution unit at The Harley Street Clinic to GMP standards as specified by MHRA.

Requirements The successful candidate will have a proven record of excellence in service delivery and be required to maintain the development of the department in line with national initiatives. You will require excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

You will have a broad based clinical knowledge with at least 4 years Oncology experience, a patient focused approach to medicine management and be adept at working within a multi-professional team.

All applicants must be Registered with RPSGB. Possess a B.Pharm with at least a post graduate qualification to certificate level. Prior personnel management and training experience is essential. A good knowledge of GMP, aseptic preparation and practical experience of clinical trials and chemotherapy care experience are essential.
