Position Summary: To deliver a high quality of diagnostic imaging to all service users, ensuring clinical safety and facilitating a high standard of patient care. You will be required to rotate through Cardiac Catheter Labs, CT and Radiology.

General
Responsibility:

 Skillfully provide accurate diagnostic imaging services

 Achieve and maintain high standards of practice within the department

 Comply with legislative and hospital policies and procedure, ensuring patient safety

 Practice a high level of customer care

 Work within a multi-disciplinary team to maximise clinical efficiency

 To provide a portable service to wards and departments

 To rotate between areas as required

 To maintain X ray records and archived images

 Assist in staff orientation and training

 To report all equipment faults

 Assist with stock control

 Ensure all examination charges are captured

 Conduct oneself professionally at all times

Requirements Previous Cath Lab and CT experience preferable, but training will be given to the successful applicant.
Mammography experience also preferable.
Participation in the on-call rota and shift work is necessary
You will have H BSc in Diagnostic Radiography or Diploma of the College of Radiographers and H P C Registration essential. A certificate in Mammography would also be an advantage.
