Position Summary: We require an enthusiastic and dynamic pharmacist to fill our Oncology Pharmacist position. You will support the Senior Oncology Pharmacist in developing and enhancing the existing high quality service.
General
Responsibility:

You’ll spend much of your time working on wards and in the Chemotherapy day unit providing advice to patients and collaborating with nurses, oncologists and other health professionals. As a key member of a small and friendly team you will be at the forefront of service developments and will be expected to represent pharmacy at specific clinical meetings, contribute to internal and/or external training programmes, and be involved in clinical service development and guideline and policy work.

Requirements The ideal post-holder should have experience in oncology and preferably have completed a post graduate qualification. You must be reliable, have excellent communication skills and have the ability to plan and deliver a service, whilst also working to deadlines.

Continuous professional development is encouraged and supported through the possibility of undertaking further post graduate qualifications.
