Position Summary: We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated pharmacist to join our friendly pharmacy team working alongside 14 other pharmacists and technicians. Our main specialities are cardiac, oncology, renal, neurology and orthopaedic.
General
Responsibility:

The post will rotate between provision of dispensary services, delivery of clinical pharmacy services to medical, surgical, cardiac and oncology patients and participation in cover to the on site cytotoxic reconstitution suite.
You will be involved in patient counselling, medication reviews and reconciliation, representing pharmacy at specific clinical meetings, information and training for staff, and the opportunity to contribute to clinical service development and policy work.

Requirements Continuous professional development is encouraged and supported through the possibility of undertaking further post graduate qualifications.
The successful candidate will be a team player with high standards and a progressive attitude to take the service forward. All staff support department core services.
Applicants should have significant post-qualification experience, preferably with relevant hospital experience. Completion of post-graduate clinical qualifications and experience in oncology would be an advantage but not essential.
