Position Summary: A Catering Manager is required to oversee a busy and varied department of three supervisors and twenty plus full time members of staff.
Responsibilities include patient catering, staff restaurant, functions, vending machines and various ad hoc requirements.
The suitable candidate must have strong delegation skills and the ability to manage and prioritise a varied workload.
General
Responsibility:

Compliance with budgetary requirements.
Excellent customer care skills and the drive to ensure the standards of customer care within the department consistently improve.
Good knowledge of Health and Safety theory and practice to ensure compliance with statutory regulations.
Training and development of the staff within the department.
Requirements Intermediate or advanced food hygiene qualification.
Management or hospitality qualification (diploma).
Membership of the Institute of Hospitality.
Management experience in a similar establishment or a 4* or 5* Hotel.
