General
Responsibility:

To assist in orientating families to hospital routine; theatre/ procedure prep.

Work within the MDT

Support anxious parents/ patients, assist in the understanding of effects of hospitalisation.

Provide all aspects of play and distraction therapy

Requirements Level 4 Diploma in specialised play for sic k children and Young people/Edexcel Cert in hospital play; HPSC /HPSEB
