Position Summary: The International Department is seeking a motivated individual for the post of International Centre Coordinator.



General
Responsibility:

The postholder will be responsible for the management and co-ordination of the administrative aspects of the patient pathway for all international patients from Advisors, insurance companies, third party administrators, Embassies and other international sources, ensuring that requests for outpatient appointments and inpatient admissions are made in a timely fashion.

The post will be the central contact for the management of the Visiting Doctor Programmes, liaising with Consultants and the Hospitals requesting doctors participation.


They will assist the Head of International Business on marketing projects and will also provide general administrative support to the Department.



Requirements Demonstrable experience in the private healthcare industry
Experience of managing referrals from international sources within a private hospital environment
Understanding of the funding sources and issues for international patients
Awareness of issues affecting families traveling long distances for treatment
Knowledge of Arabic would be desirable
Budget management experience
Experience of undertaking audits and surveys
