Position Summary: To provide assistance for the smooth running of all areas of the Day Surgery Unit.
General
Responsibility:

• Transferring patients from ward to procedure area
• Checking and restocking the patient trolleys
• Delivering specimens to the laboratory
• Assisting with mail delivery
• Transportation of equipment.
Requirements We require someone that is flexible and enjoys working in a high pressure and fast paced environment. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate that they can multi task and prioritise their workload. The unit has 3 areas of work and there is often a requirement to be in two places at once so remaining calm under pressure is another key attribute.
