Position Summary:	To supervise team of 5 kitchen porters. To ensure that the kitchen cleaning schedules are completed and that the kitchen is kept clean. To train new staff and ensure that they attend mandatory training sessions. To supervise the porters loading and transporting the hot food trolleys at main meal service times. To be computer literate, to enter daily invoices onto the computer system and prepare these for the head chef to sign. To enter recharges of food items to other departments onto the computer system.
General Responsibility:	Monitor standards, order cleaning chemicals. Supervise rosters of kitchen porters. Assist in staff appraisals. Maintain disciplinary control of staff. Ensure staff are trained. Ensure effective teamwork. Maintain accurate records. Deal with any complaints. Monitor stock. Attend departmental meetings.
Requirements	Excellent written and oral English. Must be computer literate. Able to work alone and as part of a team.
