Position Summary: An experienced Ward Sister is required for a busy surgical ward. Would you like to maintain your clinical role, and develop further management experience?

Can you cope with a fast pace working environment?
Would you like to have the opportunity to enhance your experience in managing major high acuity surgical cases?
General
Responsibility:

Senior Nurse on Duty
Conduct staff appraisals
Assist with interviewing
Financially aware and conscious of the importance of revenue recapture.
High clinical presence,
Conducting regular audits
Supporting the nurses on the ward.
Responsible for overseeing the running of the ward
Internal rotation and long days.
Requirements We are looking for:
An experienced Ward Sister.
Minimum of 5 years experience in a Surgical Ward Setting.
Experience in a minimum of 2 of our Specialities:
Urology
Renal
Vascular
Liver
Gynae
Confident IT skills
Good verbal and written communication skills
Graduate or Post Graduate level.
HDU/ ITU/ PCU experience desirable
