Position Summary:
General
Responsibility:

To undertake the reprocessing of surgical instruments on a daily basis. To inspect ,check and pack a variety of instruments in accordance with the quality system.to operate all machinery and equipment safely in accordance with manufacturers instructions.

To follow departmental procedures identify and initiate Repairs.

To report to the Manager any development /changes likely to affect the work within the department.
Requirements To be self motivated

Good command of English

Good communication skills

Ideally to be qualified to NVQ Level 1OR 2

Previous decontamination experience is essential for these roles.
