Healthcare treatment and peace of mind for you and your family
The Healthcare Trust Scheme
This valuable benefit provides employees with medical treatment for acute conditions within HCA's UK Hospitals. Employees can join the Scheme as soon as they've finished their probation free of charge.
Employees can add in their partner and children into the Scheme after they have completed 12 months continuous service.
Financial protection and treatment if you became seriously ill
Critical Illness Insurance
We offer our employees £10,000 of free Critical Illness Insurance as soon as they've reached 12 months continuous service. Critical Illness Insurance provides a tax – free cash lump sum payout when employees are diagnosed with conditions covered under the comprehensive policy used by HCA. You can use any payout as you wish.
Any payment from Critical Illness Insurance has no impact on entitlement to take eligible treatment under the Healthcare Trust Scheme. We will support our employees through difficulty.
Support for your family if you were no longer able to support them yourself
Life Assurance
We give all employees 2x annual salary Life Assurance free from starting employment, meaning that if you were to die whilst employed by HCA a payment of 2x your annual salary would be made to people you nominated.
Increasing my benefits
Each November, we run an online benefits selection for employees. After attaining the relevant service (if relevant) employees can add their partner and children into the Healthcare Trust Scheme, increase their Critical Illness Insurance up to £100,000 and alter their Life Assurance entitlement to a range between 1x and 4x salary.
